TV Reviews: LOST and SUPERNATURAL

This week, my TV warranted reviews, 'cause it was that damn good. ALIAS will not be seen this time, as I am still trying to digest the insanity even as I adore it in all its glory and console those with fallen muses. ;p

So! Let's get started...and THIS IS A CAPSLOCK OF DOOM WARNING I CUT FOR SPOILERS SO NO LOOKIE IF YOU NO SEE YET!


LOST

Warnings ahead...I tend not to be too critical of my fandom, rather I wallow in like a pig in mud. That said...I'm not so much analyzing as I am fangirling.

Ana and Libby...their deaths were gratuitious and rather pointless. Or rather, they would be had anyone but Michael shot them.

For starters? I don't know why, but it didn't really register with me that the deaths, which I already knew about, were happening THIS Wednesday, so it startled me. And I read the spoilers...I knew who died, but not how or why. That said...I thought they did a great job with the deaths.

For me, it was all about Michael. The way it all went down...when each of them got shot, it *hurt* to watch. I was sitting there with my jaw hanging open...and even though I felt a twinge of "OMGANA NOOOOO", my first thought was "Mike, you poor son of a bitch...what the FUCK did you just do?" It's pretty clear: the Others offered him a deal for Walt, and he was ready to do anything for his boy...but I know he's SO getting shafted on this one. I just know it, and he's gonna pay for what he did something terrible...

This episode, folks, is one of the reasons I heart Harold Perrineau so dearly. Whether he's breaking my heart on OZ or rocking my world on LOST, he just...*mwah* Man, you are my boy. You're the ONLY reason I like Michael, hell with the writers.

In other news...the sex? HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT BUT TOO GODDAMN SHORT, DAMON AND CARLTON AND EVERYONE I AM TALKING TO YOU. And? And? I'm *convinced* the island made all the writers telepathic because rogueapprentice? *We called it.* AGAIN! If they'd just HIRE us up in there already, we'd have canon Jate, Jack would be cheating with Sawyer, and Ana would be recast as Morena Baccarin. *nods*



SUPERNATURAL

For this, boys and girls, we'll need a list:

1) I was never attracted to Sam...until he started with the reading in Latin. Then he got an upgrade from "pinch your cheeks cute" to "ask me out and I'll say yes." Dean remains the one I would trip and beat to the floor.

2) Dean BROKE ME DED when he was begging his dad for his life because...my god...*clutches heart* I will hug him and pet him and throw him to the ground and take him in a womanly fashion. 'Cause he's pretty.

3) I've recently developed a rather unhealthy obsession with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Daddy!Winchester specifically. So much so I've started downloading GREY'S ANATOMY S2 eps to see him in it as Denny. His voice is sex, he's big and scruffy and angsty and is simply oh so very pretty. Add to that the glowy demon eyes and the badass and the evil...yeah. Seeing John Winchester possessed last night left me needing a private moment. *giggles*

And I can't yet comment on the death of the Impala and the Winchesters and the broken and the bleeding...because yeah. I am ded.

Dear WB/UPN to be,

DO NOT CANCEL MY FUCKING SHOW OR I WILL CUT YOU.

And please give us more shirtless Winchesters in the future. All of them.

In other news, I'm spending my whole weekend watching THE PRETENDER S3, JEM, and petting my Pieceworks cards, thanks to lollobrigida.

And inspection of my journal has led me to realize that a post I made nearly a week ago isn't here. At all. mediocrechick? Got your package. Coolness personified! :D Thanks! (PS you have cute postcards. :P)

Not seen Lost yet ( i loved the first season, second is leaving me..okay)...but on SPN...mmmm....JDM rocked and JensenAckles was brilliant. So much pain and angst.
GA is worth watching for JDM only :) Danny Duquette (his character) , he is such a sweetie!

So I've seen...I've been DL-ing JUST the eps he's in, and I downloaded the GA pilot. It's a cute show...but without JDM? I ain't stickin' around. LOL!

But yeah...Denny Duquette = big cuddly teddy bear love. *nods* And he's so adorable with Izzie. Awwww! :P

Yes, they are so adorable, funny and cute and I rarely really go out of my way for a het couple, but they really are good for each other...which, of course, means that Danny won't live long. After all, he's not a doctor, just a love interest.

My best scenario would be, on SPN season two, John in a coma, so that Danny can have his X number of eps in next season's GA before he dies. We get SPN season two, and then we get SPN season three and Papa Winchester waking up :D

Just watched both shows tonight. SPN first of course, I think my entire reaction was 'evil', and so much love to JA for his perfpormance, and even more love for Dean!angst - so much angst I hurt.

Lost, my first reaction was WTF?? Well, after the drooling over Jack, I really have it bad and it's so pathetic. I don't read spoilers, so I just thought the AL death was a rumour, so I have to say I'm with you on the OMG fence.

OMGIKNOW...Dean!Angst = love. And sex. Yes, I want to jump his bones when he's angsty 'cause it's HAWT. *nods* LOL

I think, for lost, Jack!droolage is a prerequisite. :P I'm picky about my spoilers, so while I knew WHO was gonna die? I didn't want to know how. Any time plot came up anywhere, I'd hide my eyes or stick my fingers in my ears and sing. *giggles*
